Connecticut’s Chris Nicholson, 43, has worked as freelance sports photographer since 1994 when he covered Monica Seles’ post-stabbing return to competition for Tennis magazine. Since then Chris has photographed professional tennis events in Australia and the United States, plus Davis Cup, Fed Cup and junior tournaments. Chris Nicholson’s tennis photos have appeared in Tennis magazine, USTA Magazine, Tennis Life, Racquet Sports Industry, Tennis Industry, the US Open program, The New York Times and more. His tennis work was also included in the pictorial books US Open Unmatched and Open Season.
